Above view shows a portion of south-central Alaska. The body of water to the left is the upper reach of Cook Inlet.  Knik Arm branches to the north and Turnagain Arm to the right or east.  Bird Point is in the exact center of the graphic. A portion of Prince William Sound appears at the right of the graphic.

The above view shows the position of the claims relative to Bird Point and the Seward Highway (shown with a solid black line).  The north-south dashed lines show the individual sections. The Seward Meridian cuts through Bird Point and forms the west boundary of  sections 19 and 30 in which the claims are located.

The State of Alaska Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management jointly maintain a web site that provides the public with information on mining claims in Alaska.

Hit Counter

This offering is a golden opportunity for an individual, or group, that possesses both

the imagination and financial resources to pursue the suggested development.  The

claims have been under constant ownership by the original filer since 1967.  That

persons passion is prospecting, not mine development.  That opportunity is now

available for pursuit by others.  This would be an excellent vehicle for a group of

investors desiring to establish themselves in Alaska.  The location is just minuets

from the Alyeska Resort, a very popular year-around destination for tourists and

Anchorage residents.  Also just minuets away via the Seward Highway.

The asking price for the claims is $120,000.

Note:  State of Alaska mining regulations provide more than one way to

satisfy annual labor requirements.  For claim owners residing outside

the state, electing to perform the actual physical labor opens the door for

a yearly, tax deductible, trip to Alaska.
